Saunders joins Cambridge Cleantech

We are excited to share that Saunders have joined Cambridge Cleantech, a membership organisation that brings together innovative businesses and individuals to support the aim of building a smarter, more sustainable future. Members range from start-ups with smart ideas in sustainable energy, water and waste, to multinational conglomerates working to reduce their environmental impact.

Saunders have always been at the forefront of sustainable architecture - we developed, among other projects, the UK’s first carbon-neutral retail store for Tesco together with several low embodied carbon food stores, a sustainable carbon neutral nursery school in Hoddesdon, Passivhaus affordable housing scheme for key workers, in Reading, and are currently working with clients in Cambridge to develop a highly sustainable, low embodied carbon sustainable business park.

Joining Cambridge Cleantech will help us extend our knowledge by working with some of the foremost and innovative companies and individuals in the UK. We’re now part of a world-wide network through which we can collaborate and be part of the cleantech revolution.
