We currently have vacancies for Senior Architectural Technologists to strengthen the delivery teams based at our Welwyn Garden Cityoffice. Opportunities exist to work within established teams on a variety of projects across differing sectors including residential, education, senior living, commercial, retail and mixed-use schemes.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience within the UK (a degree in Architectural Technology is desirable, but not essential) and applicants must have previous experience of working within an architectural practice.
- Possess the relevant skills and competence to assist with the management of projects.
- Have sound technical and construction knowledge and be able to prepare accurate detailed drawings, schedules and specification notes.
- Be able to monitor production information flow, quality and accuracy including overseeing the work produced by others within a team structure.
- Sound knowledge of current UK Building Regulations.
- Knowledge of all RIBA Workstages, but practical experience in delivering projects within RIBA Stages 3-5 is essential, including having experience of working directly with clients and other design team members.
- Be able to produce clear, coordinated, and well-presented Stage 4 & 5 documents.
- Be self-motivated and be able to carry out duties with the minimum of supervision.
- Have a clear understanding of the design process.
- Be able to manage workload and prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Proficient use of Revit essential, Autocad desirable.
