Saunders are working on a range of projects with Haileybury. We have been excited to see the results of the renovation of their lower strings room, a music room for cellists and double bassists.

The original room had a false ceiling and was filled with instruments and equipment. The ceiling was removed to reveal the magnificent volume of the original school science room.

Our interior visual has been brought to life by the estates team at Haileybury. The room features a vivid colour scheme, bronze finished original radiators and huge-scale halo lights by Erco. Bespoke joinery was designed for the storage of large instruments. The wall of cupboards, constructed by the Haileybury in-house team, features slatted doors which include acoustic absorption required for performance in the space.
