Sixth Form Centre, Drayton Manor High School, Hanwell, Ealing

Client

Marlow Builders

The new state-of-the-art sixth form building at Drayton Manor High School provides students with a dedicated space to help shape and support them in their final years of school.

Saunders designed a two-storey extension to provide a contemporary environment for students to be independent, grow in confidence and collaborate with their peers. On the ground floor there is a lively café and open plan recreational seating area. On the first floor the facility provides a large, dividable open plan space for group and individual study. It also contains WCs, seminar rooms, offices and a dedicated teaching space that can be opened or closed to the main area with a folding partition.
