Based at their Hitchin Campus, Saunders worked with the college to develop a design pro-posal to gain funding, via the Hertfordshire Local Skills Improvement Fund, for their state-of-the-art film, TV and VFX Studio.

The developed design has now been constructed and is being enjoyed by students. The facilities have been designed to equip learners with the specific skills needed by local film and television industry employers, like the nearby Elstree Studios or the new Sunset Stu-dios in Waltham Cross. The production studio is designed to replicate future work envi-ronments, helping students to gain a deep understanding of film production procedures, and confidence using industry-standard equipment, before starting their careers.
