Arena Shopping Park, Coventry

Client

Spenhill

Arena Shopping Park is part of a major regeneration of the area that provides many facilities including a new football and rugby stadium, a casino, bus interchange, and shopping mall.

The retail development includes a 140,000 sq.ft Tesco flagship store, 15 mall shop units totalling 20,000 sq.ft, 10 retail units totalling 120,000 sq.ft including Next, Boots, Borders and Sports World, a variety of restaurants and the new bus interchange.

The design uses the theme of a shopping ‘high street’, which extends through the mall and retail park, linking the retail with the railway station, football stadium and other leisure facilities, forming the backbone of a modern, cohesive development.
