After pioneering the UK’s first modular food stores for Tesco’s, we have been busy extending our offsite modular expertise and are pleased to have been appointed for a third large housing scheme due to start on site later this year.

This is the culmination of many years experience of modular and off-site construction. We were behind the development of standard house types for L&G using a cross-laminated timber offsite volumetric modular system in 2016 and we work in partnership with housebuilder Crest Nicholson, who plan to deliver up to 2,000 modular homes a year.

As well as timber, we regularly specify a light gauge steel system from Fusion Building Systems. We completed homes at the offsite award-winning development in Arborfield using this system in 2018. A further phase is currently under construction at Arborfield using Fusion and a further project for Crest Nicholson at their Kilnwood site is due to be submitted for planning later this year.

Working on the development of two senior living projects for specialist retirement living developers, Adlington, further exploits our modular housing experience. Further details will be announced shortly.
