Saunders are delighted to have received Full Planning Approval for a new build apartment development close to the centre of Aylesbury. The scheme provides 116 dwellings in total, a mix of one and two bedroom contemporary apartments all designed to meet National Space Standards. Comprising two blocks of five and six storeys, the new building replaces a 1960s built office block that had been vacant for a number of years. The site accommodates a variety of private and semi-public landscaped spaces, utilising existing mature trees to act as a visual buffer, and including pocket parks, a rear courtyard linking to parking and an open space to the front of the site addressing both blocks and acting as a pedestrian entrance into the site. The new development will bring much needed new housing to the area.
