Saunders are pleased that their scheme for a new dining and music facilities for Sarah Bonnell School has been granted Planning Permission. Sarah Bonnell School is located in the London Borough of Newham, close to the centre of Stratford. The successful comprehensive school for 1230 girls aged 11-16 will be facilitating an additional 120 students over a 5 year period resulting in a further requirement for more teaching space.

The approved scheme proposes the refurbishment of and extension to an existing Edwardian brick building. The accommodation provided includes enlarged dining facilities and the provision of a new music department. The new music facility includes 2 large classrooms, a series of practice rooms, a group practice room, a staff offices and storage spaces. The diverse range of spaces provide flexibility for learning, teaching and performance.
