New homes planned for Welwyn Garden City

06-02-2020

Saunders have developed the detailed design for a new 110-unit development for Crest Nicholson on Bessemer Road, north east of Welwyn Garden City’s town centre. This brownfield site, which was formerly occupied by light industrial units and a car wash, will provide much needed new homes for first-time buyers and families.

Four new blocks of apartments and 56 houses will provide a combination of private sale, shared ownership and affordable rent homes along a tree-lined avenue. With close links to London and only a 10-minute walk to the local station and town centre, this is a great opportunity for many to live in this vibrant area.
Construction is expected to start on site in March this year.
