We are delighted to announce that Annabel Lait, Andrew Gibbins and Graham Price have been promoted to Directors, as part of our ongoing strategy to take Saunders forward and strengthen the business.
Annabel is a highly experienced Chartered Architect with specialist education and residential sector knowledge. She has worked on complex, high-end residential schemes and large, mixed tenure housing projects alongside projects for primary, secondary, higher and further education. Annabel takes projects from initial concept design through planning, and onto project delivery on site. Most recently, Annabel was responsible for a multi-phased, residential scheme in South London and a new addition to an 18th century girls school in East London.
Andrew has been working in architecture for 30 years. He is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and an AaPS accredited Principal Designer. He initially joined Saunders in 1995 and worked within the practice for over 16 years, before leaving to gain additional experience, re-joining in 2016. Andrew has vast experience within the retail sector including mixed use developments, having delivered over 40 projects of various sizes and complexity for a number of clients. In addition, he has vast commercial, industrial and residential experience, including Listed Building refurbishment.
Andrew has been instrumental in setting up, and continues to support, various initiatives and policies within the practice, including CDM, technical development, and quality assurance.
Graham is a Director with over 30 years’ experience in architecture. He specialises in technical design and the design management of residential developments through pre-construction and construction. His residential experience includes large scale suburban housing schemes, high density urban developments, mixed-use, luxury bespoke homes and conversions. He has also worked on assisted living, care and retirement projects. Graham manages a team responsible for delivering schemes post-planning through to completion.
Previously, Graham has been employed by a main contractor and a privately owned bespoke residential developer for a period of 11 years. During this time he has gained significant experience and understanding of working with commercial, procurement and construction teams. Graham is a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
We would like to thank them for their continuing hard work and commitment to Saunders and wish them every success in their new roles.
